Army athletics team nets three medals in Pasig national track fest
DAVAO CITY---On November 19, at the Philsports Complex Track and Field Oval in Pasig City, the Philippine Army athletics team won two gold medals and a silver medal in the National Relay Series finals of the Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association (PATAFA).

In the elite women's 5,000-meter race, Cpl. Macrose Dichoso won the gold medal, while Pvt. Jelly Dianne Paragile won another gold medal in the elite women's 100-meter hurdles. In addition, Pvt. Paragile, Cpl. Jaidal Abdulmajid, Sgt. Aris O. Africa, and Pvt. Marylyn A. Avila won silver in the mixed 4x400-meter relay.

Col. John Oliver Gabun, director of the Special Service Center (SSC), praised the Army Athletics Team for their impressive performance in the PATAFA National Relay Series, which featured top-tier athletic teams from all around the nation.
