Tecson said that the online countdown show is part of the events for the Davao Pasko Fiesta (DPF) wherein exciting prizes await lucky viewers to welcome the New Year 2022.
Tecson is inviting Dabawenyos to a Davao Giga New Year Countdown 2022 celebration live at Davao Pasko Fiesta Facebook page featuring Ms. Gigi De Lana at Gigi Vibes Concert at 10 p.m on December 31.
She thanked Dabawenyos who participated in the DPF activities and competitions, including the Christmas Card of Hope, Paskong Litrato, Himig ng Pasko which is the Chorale Competition, Family Tiktok, and Star ng Pasko which is a family lantern-making contest.
“ I would like to thank those who participated during our events although some people are still looking for live events. We are still not used to online activities. But, this is also a way to encourage the public, at least, despite the pandemic, we are doing something to celebrate the annual traditions,” Tecson said.
Tecson further said she hopes that in the future, Dabawenyos will be more inclined to participate in the DPF activities online.
