The program is in partnership with the national government’s Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (CLIP), Sara said.
Kalina Village is located in Barangay Mahayag, Bunawan District in DavaoCity.
“We have them undergo thorough medical checkup, we do all the training, seminars, mental wellness, spiritual rejuvenation, disaster training, training for entrepreneurship; then we integrate them back to families and communities,”Sara said.

She said the services given to the former rebels include their basic needs such as food, medicines, among others.
The city government has assigned two social workers to assist the former rebels’ needs.
The local government has partnered with directly-concerned national government agencies to provide the essential needs of the former rebels. The DSWD provides financial aid to start a livelihood to sustain their families and communities. TESDA provides technical skills training. The former rebels also undergo counseling in relation to family and community.
