The figure, however, remains significantly lower than Vice President Sara Duterte’s 42.4% support in the first-choice presidential preference survey.
Only 6.9% of respondents identified Baste Duterte as their preferred presidential candidate, indicating a considerable gap between his first-choice and second-choice ratings.
In the second-choice category, Baste Duterte ranked ahead of Senator Raffy Tulfo, who received 10%, former vice president Leni Robredo with 9.4%, Senator Robin Padilla with 9.3%, and Sara Duterte with 8.6%.
Around 22% of respondents, meanwhile, had no definite second-choice candidate.
The results indicate that while Baste Duterte enjoys the strongest second-choice preference among the personalities included in the survey, his current first-choice support remains far behind that of his sister, Sara Duterte.
