PRO 11 records zero incidents on firecrackers, stray bullets
The Police Regional Office 11 (PRO 11) reported a generally peaceful and orderly situation across Region 11 as the implementation of Ligtas Paskuhan 2025 continues.
Based on the Quicklook Data as of 6:00 AM covering December 16 to 25, 2025, PRO 11 deployed a total of 2,621 police personnel to ensure public safety during the Christmas season. This included 1,234 deployed PNP personnel, 415 augmentation forces, and 972 advocacy group members assigned across the region.
To assist travelers and commuters, PRO 11 also activated Motorist Assistance Hubs, manned by 278 deployed PNP personnel, 60 augmentation units, and 84 advocacy group members, with a total strength of 422 personnel.
Additional deployments were strategically positioned in key public areas, including 264 personnel in transportation hubs, 330 in tourist destinations, 1,227 in places of worship, and 378 in places of convergence, ensuring police visibility and immediate response throughout Region 11.
PRO 11 recorded zero incidents related to firecrackers and stray bullets, and no major crimes such as murder, homicide, rape, robbery, or carnapping, reflecting the effectiveness of preventive security measures and intensified police presence.
As part of Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO), PRO 11 recorded 58 anti-illegal drug operations, the arrest of 63 wanted persons, 11 illegal gambling operations, the recovery of 18 loose firearms, and 11 other police operations conducted during the monitoring period.
PRO 11 Director Brigadier General Leon Victor Rosete attributed the positive peace and order situation to the dedication of police personnel and the strong cooperation of the community.
PRO 11 assures the public that security operations will remain in full force until the end of the holiday season and encourages everyone to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.
