DAVAO CITY – The Bureau of Customs - Port of Davao (BOC-Davao) Water Patrol Division has showcased its capability sea patrolling after they participated in the Maritime-Interagency Exercise hosted by the Eastern Mindanao Command (EASTMINCOM) last June 30.

The BOC-Davao in a statement said the Port demonstrated operations of its Fast-Patrol Boats during the sea-related apprehensions.

The objective of the exercise is to further strengthen its collaboration and test the inter-operability capacities of involved maritime agencies in Davao Region during Maritime Security Operations.

The exercise featured the simulation of involved agencies’ operations whenever there is unlawful action in maritime waters. BOC’s part involved inspecting and validating the reported suspected smuggled items and contrabands found on board.
