Evangelista said the mobile kitchen features a public address system, a water dispenser, a waste tank, a food burner, cabinet working table, lavatory, kitchen utensils, among others.

“Nipalit kita og bag-ong mobile kitchen para atong pakusgan ang paghatag og serbisyo sa katawhang Tomasino ilabi na sa mga disaster operasyon nato sa local government of Santo Tomas,” Evangelista said in a statement.

The mobile kitchen dubbed “Kusina Ni Tomas” will accommodate informal settlers and families in impoverished communities during disaster response operations.

Other sectors of the community are also expected to benefit from the mobile kitchen as this will be maximized to augment the operations of the Municipal Social Workers Development Office (MSWDO) and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).
