P8.1-M worth of shabu, marijuana burned in Davao del Norte
The regional office of the Philippine Drug Enforcement (PDEA) in Davao del Norte destroyed P8.1 million worth of illegal drugs over the weekend.

A total of 514.0331 grams of dangerous drugs including methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu and marijuana were burned by thermal facility in Wood Haven Crematorium, Barangay La Filipina, Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

PDEA director Aileen Lovitos commended the untiring effort of the local government unit, police, other law enforcement agencies, media, and the community for their untiring support in the fight against illegal drugs. 

She said the collaborative effort of the five pillars of the criminal justice system serves as a warning to all drug perpetrators that they are working hand in hand to suppress the supply of illegal drugs in our country.

Davao del Norte Governor Edwin Jubahib witnessed the activity alongside the police, and other heads of the key government offices in the province.

The PDEA also gave certificates of recognition and a plaque of appreciation to its partner stakeholders for their untiring support in the war against illegal drugs in the country.
