MSU Tawi-Tawi Sports Office presents PSC-funded sports gears
DAVAO CITY---The Sports Development Office of Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography formally inaugurated the new basketball backstops given by the Philippine Sports Commission last December 2.

Chancellor Mary Joyce Guinto-Sali, Head Executive Assistant Director Alnasul Sali, Director for Sports Dr. Shamira Dais, and former sports director and now Director for Administration Dr. Edward Lee led the ribbon cutting of the new backstops, commonly called "basketball rings."

The backstops donated by PSC are worth P500,000.

The donation comes with a beach volleyball tournament worth P116,900. 

Former sports director and now Director for Administration Dr. Edward Lee, who initiated said initiatives, thanked the PSC and its Chairman William "Butch" Ramirez for the support given to MSU Tawi-Tawi. 

The Chancellor, in a short message, says she will continue to support initiatives and development on sports and fitness-related programs for students and employees alike. (PR)
