DAVAO CITY---Davaoeno track and field star is making a name for himself in the track and field competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) college division.
James Ceballos, a resident of Barangay Mandug here is the leader of the NCAA season 94 track and field team University of Perpetual Help System (UPHS) Altas.
Ceballos, a third-year maritime engineering student is also the record holder for the 400 meters run in the NCAA juniors division.
He is grateful for the chance to play in the NCAA and earn a degree for free at the same time.
With his achievements, Ceballos also hopes to inspire many runners from the province to always dream big.
"Para inspire yung iba na kahit mahirap ang buhay laban lang," Ceballos told the news program 24 oras in an interview.(Romeo Braceros Jr.)
