BOC-Davao continues to improve revenue collections in April
The Bureau of Customs - Port of Davao (BOC-Davao) has continued to improve its collection for this year it has again exceeded its April 2022 revenue target.

BOC Davao District Collector lawyer Erastus Sandino B. Austria in a statement said that the Port collected P3.68 billion  or 11.46 percent higher against its assigned target of P3.30 billion posting a surplus of P378.15 million.  

"This is also higher by 0.16 percent compared to the 2021 April collection performance of P3.09 billion," he said.  

In March this year, BOC-Davao collected P3.49 billion pesos which is  3.60 percent higher against its assigned target of P3.37 billion. 

Also in February,  the Port collected P3.30 billion or 9.81 percent higher against its assigned target of P3.01 billion.  

While in January, the collected P3.30 billion  or 2.22 percent is higher than its assigned target of P3.23 billion. 

Austria said that the positive revenue collection can be attributed to the improved valuation, intensified enforcement operations, and the government’s efforts in ensuring the unhampered movement of goods amid the pandemic.
