A body of an unidentified woman was found at the river in P-Maypalad, Brgy. Rizal, Bansalan, Davao del Sur, Friday (Nov. 18) afternoon.
The Bansalan Police in its report said the woman was carried away by the strong currents of the river due to heavy downpour.
Police described the victim in medium in built, about 4 feet in height, wearing green t-shirt and black pants.
Residents in the area to police probers that the said river was flooded due to heavy rains the past few days.
The Bansalan Police had already coordinated with nearby police stations and friendly units to monitor any reported missing persons within their respective area of responsibility.
The cadaver was brought to Brillantes Funeral Homes located at R Delos CIentos ST., Poblacion Uno in Bansalan.
