DCPO City Director Colonel Peter B. Madria personally conducted spot inspections of police personnel deployed near Ateneo de Davao University, including the area along Km. 7, Bangkal, and Police Station 15–Ecoland covering the university’s elementary and high school departments along McArthur Highway.
Madria reminded personnel to remain alert and ensure an immediate police response to any security threat, including the prompt implementation of lockdown procedures when necessary.
He also directed closer coordination with school security personnel and other members of the city’s Security Cluster to strengthen protective measures for students, faculty and nearby communities.
Madria, together with 1st CMFC Force Commander PLTCOL Daisy G. Torres, also coordinated with school security officials as part of efforts to enhance security preparedness.
The DCPO said the measures underscore its continuing commitment to keeping schools and communities safe and ensuring police readiness to respond to security concerns.
