DAVAO CITY---The owner of the popular Limitless Gym and Martial Arts in this city won a bronze medal in the ongoing 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Marc Alexander Lim placed third in the Jiujitsu, Men's U-69KG-GI, to take the bronze medal.
Lim thanked all those who supported his SEA Games campaign in his Facebook post.
"This camp was so tough because of several reasons happening all at once. Deep inside I felt like I was losing a lot of faith in myself and my body. But because of all the support from amazing people, from family, teammates, coaches, students, and friends, we could not break, we pushed through," Lim said.
In the 2019 SEA Games hosted by the Philippines, Lim won a silver medal in the same competition at the Laus Group Events Center in San Fernando, Pampanga. (Romeo Braceros Jr.)
