Davaoena spiker cracks roster of Arellano University Chiefs Women's Volleyball team
DAVAO CITY---Another promising spiker who traces her roots in this city has brought her spiking talent in Metro Manila.

Nicole Victoria Sasuman, a utility spiker of the Davao City National High School volleyball team has made it to the roster of the 2022 Arellano University Chiefs Women's Volleyball team.

Listed as 5'7, Sasuman is expected to provide scoring and defense for the Chiefs in the next season of the NCAA women's collegiate volleyball wars.

Among the schools in the NCAA, the oldest collegiate tournament in the Philippines, the Chiefs is one of those who always offer scholarship opportunities to talented Davaoenoes to show their wares in the country's capital.

Two of the basketball stars of the Chiefs in the men's division came from Davao, namely Michael Canete and Dariel Bayla.

Canete now plays for the Meralco Bolts in the PBA while Bayla is also playing in some semi-professional basketball leagues in Visayas and Mindanao. (Romeo Braceros Jr.)
