DAVAO CITY—The secondary girls futsal team of Ateneo de Davao University won the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) Mindanao games futsal tournament.
The lady booters from ADDU demolished Ateneo de Zamboanga to win the coveted title 8-1.
The team also goes undefeated in the tournament, as they beat San Pedro College 9-0 and Xavier University of Cagayan de Oro City 7-0 in their earlier games.
The win is a huge honor not only to ADDU but to Davao City as well who plays host of this year's tournament which features some of the top futsal Catholic schools in Mindanao.(Romeo Braceros Jr.)
