Davao City Fire District in its report Thursday morning August 6 said the fire was reported at 9:21 p.m. and escalated to a second alarm at 9:36 p.m.
The fire was declared under control at 9:55 p.m. before being extinguished at 10:18 p.m.
No injuries or fatalities were reported. Around six families, or about 16 individuals, were affected by the incident.
The fire damaged an estimated 210 square meters of residential area.
Authorities said the cause of the fire remains under investigation, while the estimated cost of damage has yet to be determined.
