Dyip head coach Johnedel Cardel said the management has decided not to renew the contract of Celda, a former player of the National University Bulldogs.
Cardel revealed that Celda, one of the longest members of Terrafirma, is now a free agent that any interested PBA team can sign anytime.
The fast-rising six-foot Matinian has gone a long way in his professional career after he quit basketball in 2014 due to his limited playing time while playing for the champion team Bulldogs in the UAAP.
Celda said with inspiration from his family and friends, he forwent his plan to quit and eventually applied for the PBA draft in 2016.
Luckily he was picked in the draft by NLEx, who traded him to Kia, now Terrafirma.
Celda is among the few PBA players who trace their roots in region 11. (Romeo Braceros Jr.)
