Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Two people are better than one because together they have a good reward for their hard work. If one falls, the other can help his friend get up. But how tragic it is for the one who is all alone when he falls. There is no one to help him get up.

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

“Pleasant speech multiplies friends, and a gracious tongue multiplies courtesies.”

Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.

One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all

Some people feel that the negative aspects of aging are inevitable, but in this verse, we are told that Moses was 120 years old when he died, yet his eyesight was clear, and he was as strong as ever.

“Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.'*

For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

"Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."

“The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
