βSo donβt worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Todayβs trouble is enough for today.β
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
"And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him."
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.
βDo not be misled: βBad company corrupts good character.β
Behold, the LORDβs hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear;
He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more deathβ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.β
βIn a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Behold, the LORDβs hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear;
βNow the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.β
"A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends."
Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons.
Forget what happened in the past, and do not dwell on events from long ago.
