Verse of the Day | August 18, 2024
- ξ
Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, βI will never leave you nor forsake you.β
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
βSeek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.β
βThey themselves will be wealthy, and their good deeds will last forever.β
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
βGreed causes fighting; trusting the Lord leads to prosperity.β
βWhoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaninglessβ
βFor everything in the worldβthe lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of lifeβcomes not from the Father but from the worldβ
βAnd we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.β
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
βGreed causes fighting; trusting the LORD leads to prosperity.β
βNevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.β
βThe generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.β
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Charm is deceit and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh shall be praised.
