The OVP maintained that no funds were lost and that all funds were accounted for, adding that the relief activities were carried out as planned.
It also said beneficiaries of the operations were recorded and validated using available supporting documents and field records submitted to the COA audit team.
The vice president's office said it is continuing to improve its procedures for documentation, validation and monitoring to ensure that records of relief operations are complete and properly maintained.
The OVP added that strengthening these processes is particularly important during emergency responses and calamities, when field conditions can change during the course of operations.
