The targets of the operation conducted by PDEA Agents, Police, and NBI were identified as alias Christian and alias Athena. The two were apprehended after conspiring with each other in selling one piece self-sealing transparent plastic pouch containing suspected marijuana worth P5,000 to an undercover agent posing as a buyer.
Also seized during the operation were eleven vacuum-sealed bricks of suspected dried marijuana leaves with an estimated total weight of eleven kilos, valued at around ⱣP3,600,000, along with the marked buy-bust money.
The arrested individuals will face charges for violations of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
