Task Force Davao together with the Davao City Police Office apprehended the following suspects onboard a black multicab with plate number KAL 4680 traveling towards Davao City.
Police identified them as Tirso B Castones Jr, 44 years old, married, resident of Mailag, Valencia City Bukidnon; Ruel C. Abriol, 42 years old, married, resident of Kitagum, Misamis Oriental; and Genetir B Castones, 31 years old, married, resident of P-7 Cacao, Panabo City.
During the mandatory inspection, the authorities intercepted from the three, two sachets of suspected "shabu" weighing about 0.9 grams with an estimated street value of P14,400, paraphernalia and cash amounting to P12,500.
"This arrest is a reflection of Davao City's intensified checkpoint operations following the reported threats to Davao City days ago,” Task Force Davao Commander, Colonel Darren Comia said.
The suspects and evidence were immediately turned over to the Toril Police Station. (BY RICHY NALAGON)
