Cabantian teens help FEU win 12th UAAP juniors football crown

DAVAO CITY—Three promising teen footballers from Barangay Cabantian here played a huge part in helping the Far Eastern University Tamaraws junior football team win the championship against the tough University of Santo Tomas Glowing Tigers 3-0 in the UAAP junior football championship on February 29 at the UP Diliman Football Field in Quezon City.

Kian Terrence Niu, Joerby Anito, and Gian Lucha, all members of the Rovers Football Club based here played an important role in helping the Tamaraws continue its dominance in junior football category in the UAAP.

Niu, scored the first of the three winning goals for the team in their 12th championship crown.

Lucha for his part played brilliantly in the entire tournament and was declared as the most valuable player.

Anito for his part also played tough for the

 team in their win.
