Philippine Army’s 10th Infantry Division reported that the 1003rd Infantry Battalion confiscated three M16 rifles, two magazines with ammunition, eight backpacks, medical paraphernalia, food supplies, clothing, various war materials, and subversive documents.
Major Mark Anthony Tito, spokesman of 10th ID said that soldiers under the 1003rd Infantry Brigade, led by Brigadier General Marion T. Angcao, were responsible for capturing these items following their focused military operation.
According to Tito the said items were from the NPA’s Sub-Regional Sentro De Grabidad (SRSDG) Peddler, North Central Mindanao Regional Committee (NCMRC).
Brigadier General Allan D. Hambala, the 10th ID Commander reiterates the call for the remaining members of the communist terrorist group (CTG) particularly in Bukidnon province to surrender.
Hambala in a statement said the command relently conducts military operations through the legitimate use of force against the CTG, ensuring the safety and well-being of the people.
Hambala assures that 10th ID remains open to accepting NPA members who are willing to lay down their arms and reintegrate into the folds of the law.
