Davao City Police Office (DCPO) reported that the victims- 8 children and 3 adults complained of stomach ache and were vomiting hours after consuming spaghetti.
Initial investigation of the police revealed that a certain Geraldina Bocuya, a resident of Deca Homes Mintal, Davao City visited the place and cooked spaghetti for their snacks on Monday afternoon.
Eight of the 11 victims were brought by the personnel of Central 911 to Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC), while the rest were admitted at Kibalang District Hospital in Marilog.
DCPO spokesman Captain Hazel Tuazon said that five victims are now safe and had already been discharged from the hospital on Tuesday and six others are currently in stable condition at SPMC.
Tuazon said that investigation is now on the way to determine the real causes of said poisoning.
The health authorities are also considering that the water they drank from a spring might also be the reason for the cause of vomiting.
