In a report from Davao City Police Office (DCPO), the victim Lilian del Campo Nieva, a resident of Phase 1, Blk. 101 Lot 3, Deca Homes Talomo, Bago Gallera, Davao City was found lifeless inside her house.
According to the victim’s brother, Noel Nieva, that his sister had not answered his phone calls since Thursday afternoon (Sept. 28) which made him restless and worried.
He then check her sister’s condition at her residence. However, he said no one responded when he tried to call her name when he forcefully opened the main gate and the entrance door of her house.
Based on the information he gave to the police investigators, the victim was lying in bed with several stab wounds on different parts of her body.
Initial investigation revealed, some of Nieva’s personal belongings such as the Iphone 12 and undetermined amount of assorted jewelries were missing.
