Davao City Police Office (DCPO) identified the slain victim as Romnick Creer Nortarte, 31 and a resident of Sitio Acacia, Brgy. Tamugan, Marilog Dist., Davao City.
The other victims who were injured are Emilita Alegarme, 48, Loribeth Nocyeo, 50, and Rey Agliones, 32.
Investigation disclosed that after the victims were having dinner at Emragila Restobar and about to leave the place, Alegarme noticed a color white cellophane bag with a lighted fire inside placed on the window of the said establishment.
Upon checking and taking the said cellophane, it suddenly exploded resulting in an injury thereon.
The victims who sustained an injury on different parts of their bodies were immediately rushed to Southern Philippines Medical Clinic (SPMC) for their immediate medical intervention.
Nortarte was declared dead on arrival at the hospital by his attending physician Dr. Abraham Magbanua.
DCPO spokesman Captain Hazel Tuazon said that further investigation is now underway to be able to identify the bombers and their motive.
However, she said initial findings of the investigation revealed that a personal grudge might be the possible motive of the blast.
Probers have yet to identify the suspects.
