TF Davao in partnership with the Bagobo Tagabawa Tribe led by Deputy Mayor Bae Sheirelle Uy-Anino alongside various national government agencies and different Departments of the Local Government of Davao City participated in the activity as part of the propagation of the Culture of Security.
The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reached out to the people to have National IDs and other services benefiting 28 individuals, 31 persons were also accommodated by the City Civil Registrar Office, while 250 Food Packs from the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWDO) were given to the selected beneficiaries.
The City Agriculture also gave 100 assorted fruit bearing trees to some farmers while 50 individuals availed the livelihood programs and training of TESDA.
The City Health Office provided Medical Services to 106 out-patients. 55 individuals had their teeth checked and extracted while 33 received fluoride during the free Dental Services offered by Smile for Everyone Foundation, 7th ARCEN and 10, ID Dental Team.
The Land Transportation Office, on the other hand, served 57 individuals who wanted to have a driver’s license while 67 persons had their free hair cut in the "Libreng Gupit" offered by Task Force Davao.
Other beneficiaries also received sets of pale, basin, slippers, medicines, vitamins, including packs of cookies and chocolates.
TF Davao Commander Colonel Darren E. Comia thanked all the agencies
who participated in the project that champions the trust and confidence of the community towards their local and national government.
Comia also lauded the unwavering support of the partner stakeholders for their community service program that greatly helped the Indigenous People of Bagobo Tagabawa.
The security forces also had their regular monthly meeting with the 11 Deputy Mayors representing the 11 tribes of the city. Discussion in the meetings focused on the developmental concerns of the respective community that will eventually help in the maintenance of peace, security and order not only in their respective localities but also in the entire city.
