DAVAO CITY- Government operatives seized more or less P1.5 million worth of illegal drugs and arrested 17 persons at a resort in Barangay Pindasan, Mabini, Davao de Oro on Saturday evening, (November 6).
Joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 11 and National Bureau of Investigation ( NBI), arrested 33-year olds Revsan Ethelbert Papay Elizalde from Catalunan Pequeño this city in a buy-bust
operation that yielded a total of P8,000 suspected party drugs and marijuana.
Also arrested during the operation were Elizalde’s cohorts identified as
Eana Faye Marie Olea, Bryk Jiordan Archival, Kurk Bryan Tiubot, Paolo Guerero, and 12 others who were caught in the act of having a drug session.
The raiding team was able to recover another P1.4 million worth of illegal substances from them, including shabu, suspected party drug tablets and liquid party drugs, and Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LAD).
Also confiscated were several bottles of energy drinks.
The suspects are now detained at the NBI detention facility, while cases for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against the suspects.
