Davao De Oro quake victims transferred to military hospital

DAVAO CITY- The Camp General Manuel T Yan Senior Station Hospital (CGMTYSSH) of the Philippine Army’s 10th Infantry Division based in Mawab town in Davao de Oro has catered civilian patients.

These patients were initially admitted at the Davao De Oro Provincial in the municipality of Montevista , however, they were transferred to the military hospital after a 5.9 magnitude earthquake hit said province on Tuesday afternoon (Mar.7).

The patients were forced to evacuate the Davao De Oro Provincial Hospital building at Kilometer 104, Barangay Bankerohan, Montevista, and temporarily stayed outside after some cracks and damages were seen and observed inside the hospital.

The soldiers then immediately deployed three military ambulances to transport three adults and eight pediatric patients with their respective watchers  to CGMTYSSH in Barangay Tuboran, Mawab, Davao De Oro.

Major General Jose Eriel M. Niembra, 10th ID commander who personally checked the status of said patients, has assured that proper medical attention would be given to them while staying inside the military hospital.
