Davaoeno PG carry Roxas Vanguards to 90-72 win over Kapatagan in VisMin Super Cup (VIDEO)

DAVAO CITY---A promising point guard who is a Davaoeno played big in the 90-72 win of Roxas Vanguards over Kapatagan Buffalo Braves in the ongoing Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup Mindanao Challenge at the Pagadian Gym last December 2.

Levi dela Cruz, a former star point guard of Arellano University in the NCAA scored 17 points and carried his team to victory against the Braves.

Dela Cruz is a man on a mission in the game as he went  6-of-8 shooting from the field – including a 5-of-6 clip from deep – to go with three rebounds, an assist, and a steal. 

The 5'7 point guard is happy with his performance and their win and thanked his coach Alvin Grey for the opportunity to play in the fast-rising regional basketball league.

“Kung hindi dahil kay Coach Alvin, siguro wala talaga akong basketball career, hindi ako makakabalik ng Manila after ng minor ACL injury ko noon sa UST,”Dela Cruz said.

Grey for his part also praised the performance of dela Cruz in their win.
