"We are so excited. It's such a gorgeous country. So, we try to recreate what we did in Aladdin," Frozen's director Benjamin Osborne said during their Regional Media Launch on November 15.
Osborne said that four years ago, they also staged Aladdin in the same venue and it was a huge success with a beautiful production.
He said they are now preparing very hard for their show in the said country and before staging their show starting February, he will be back on Singapore by mid-January next year to rehearse local children there to portray some roles including young Elsa and Anna.
"We have about six local children in the show, " he said.
He said they are also currently packing all their things which will be used for their production going to Singapore.
"I think it is 26 shipping containers and it is huge. When you guys see this production, it's every detail you want to see and it is bigger than in London," he said.
Osborne said Singapore is the only country in Southeast Asia which is going to stage the hit Broadway Musical.
