VIDEO: Davao boys shine in San Miguel-Converge PBA tussle

DAVAO CITY---Two PBA players from this city have a superb game in the San Miguel-Converge basketball game on Sunday in Antipolo in the ongoing Philippine Cup.

Leon Garcia, Agdao native Michael Canete scored 10 points in an off-the-bench role to help San Miguel beat Converge 111-92.

San Miguel head coach Leo Austria gave Canete some quality minutes in the game, and former St. John College of Davao player under coach Howard Delgado responded big-time by scoring double-digit.

Considered his breakout game in the PBA, Canete also scored on a slam dunk in a fast break layout to the delight of the crowd inside the arena.

Aside from Canete, former Assumption College of Davao high basketball varsity Allyn Bulanadi also had a breakout game for Converge.

Bulanadi scored 22 points for his team in a losing cause.

The former gunner of San Sebastian University in the NCAA was a man on a mission in the game as he shot five three-pointers.
