Sara ready for 2 scenarios in political career

Davao City mayor and vice presidential aspirant Sara Duterte is ready with her platform of governance either she and tandem presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. win or if she wins and Marcos loses in the upcoming general elections.

“If mananalo kaming dalawa, pinagusapan na naming kung saan akong makakatulong sa kanyang cabinet. If ibang president ang mananalo mag focus ako sa tatlong priorities,” Duterte said at the press conference held shortly before the Thanksgiving Dinner for her brainchild  Mahalin Natin Ang Pilipinas Ride (MNAPR) caravan, Monday  (Feb.28) at  Tripple Crown Ranch in Davao City.

Sara  and her MNAPR team arrived in the city yesterday after 28 days of land travel since Feb. 1 in 34 identified cities and provinces of the country.

Sara identified her three priorities as the following: 1)Teach people how to do business to augment the income of every Filipino family; 2) peace keeping efforts to pave the way for development; and 3) child protection particularly from abuse and neglect.

Earlier reports claimed that if Marcos and Sara  win, he latter will be appointed as head of the Department of National Defense (DND).

Sara when asked if she indeed becomes the DND Chief, how will she address the South China Sea issue. She replied: “ Always diplomacy. We are a developing country; we are not a super power country; for every international issue and conflict, we will use diplomacy.”

When it comes to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, Duterte said if she were the President of the country, her stance would always be neutral.  “Always neutral if the interest of the country is not affected but if it is at risk, that’s the time to take sides,” Duterte said.
