The IATF however said these activities may only be allowed if workers/employees of these establishments are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and minimum public health standards (MPHS) must be strictly followed, and if there is no objection from the concerned local government unit, the City Information Office in a report said.
Davao City is among the areas placed under Alert Level 2.
Under this level, “Venues for meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE), permitted social events, visitor or tourist attractions, amusement parks or theme parks, recreational venues, cinema, and movie houses are allowed. “
Activities not allowed are horse racing, cock-fighting and operation of cockpits, lottery and betting shops, and other gaming establishments except may be authorized by the IATF or the Office of the President.
Davao City government has already lifted the liquor ban and ban on face -to-face activities of local and national government owned and controlled corporations. (By Judy Quiros)
